In addition to providing our Symbol LDT 3805 scanners for rent to our Clients for physical inventories by their associates, we also have customized a variety of other applications either in conjunction with the physical inventory, or as a separate project. Some of these uses are:

Keying "cut-off information" at the time the inventory is closed which is transmitted to Hart along with the store's inventory of SKUs and quantities. This eliminates the delay in receiving the handwritten documents and speeds up reconciliation.

Use of our scanners and special software to control seasonal pack-a-way merchandise kept in the stockroom.

Special loss prevention reporting package to audit the inventory.

Our scanners are used to perform carton content audits of DC shipments.

Some clients provide us with their On Hand SKU counts. When the inventory is completed in the store, our system immediately provides variance reporting for quick investigation.

Our scanners are used to perform a "blind" scan of merchandise on fixtures for system comparison at the SKU level to the original employee scanning the fixture.

Some clients provide Hart with "model" SKU on-hand quantities so at the end of the inventory, we immediately produced a "pick list" of any excess SKU's for return to their Product Return Center and re-distribution to other stores.
